Fall House Hunting
Savannah is coming into one of the most exciting times of the year … Fall. We are beginning to enjoy more breeze in our days and less humidity. The students at SCAD are back in town so the historic district is buzzing with movement. The air smells like fall and everyone seems to have a skip in their step. This weather and atmosphere makes it easy to show houses, visit open houses and take weekend drives to look more closely at the homes in this beautiful coastal city. There are several ways to plan how you would map out house hunting. You can look in the Savannah Morning News Sunday edition and pick open houses to visit. Map out your own little tour of Savannah and the surrounding island communities. You can look online to Savannah Home Finder for listings with virtual tours (amazing technology in your pajamas but you don’t get the fall breeze in your hair… only draw back). Or you can find a real estate agent you enjoy talking with and ask them to do some leg work for you. Give them an idea of what you like and need in a new home and they can create a city tour complete with tour guide! It is a good time of year to visit the city of Savannah and an even better time to house hunt. We have great events coming our way and nice weather to enjoy!
